I relate to many of your points so much--the perfectionism and inner critic overthinking ALL the details of the writing! And the fact that we do this as some sort of protection mechanism from putting writing into the world. It's scary!
Also re: your point about feeling apprehensive about sharing writing because a lack of "formal" training, ahhh! FWIW, as someone with formal training and someone who just finished grading another batch of university-level essays, I assure you that your writing is far more clear and engaging that most essays I've graded over the past 8+ years.
